Pioneers in Agricultural Biotechnology

Dr. Annette Kleiser co-founded Dalan Animal Health in 2019, focusing on developing groundbreaking vaccines for honeybees and other invertebrates. Under her leadership, Dalan launched the first vaccine for bees, utilizing her extensive expertise in biotech drug development to bring this innovation to market. With over 20 years of experience in business development and biotechnology, Dr. Kleiser has consistently transitioned ideas from the lab to commercial success.

Sylvia Wulf, President and CEO of AquaBounty Technologies, has driven the commercialization of the first genetically engineered animal approved for food—AquaBounty’s salmon. Her leadership transformed AquaBounty into a food company with a biotechnology product, positioning it as a leading supplier of fresh, genetically modified salmon in the U.S. market.
