AACR 2022 Opening: Decoding Cancer Complexity to Transform Patient Outcomes

The opening plenary session on 10th April 2022 titled “Decoding cancer complexity, Integrating Science, transforming patient outcomes” was chaired by Dr. Marcia Cruz-Correa, Professor of Medicine at the Universidad de Puerto Rico. The plenary session could be divided into 3 broad themes with two speakers addressing each theme. The themes were: Cancer susceptibility and tumor evolution.Metabolites and their role in cancer initiation and anti-tumor immunity.Future of cancer research and fostering early cancer detection.
