NEWSFLASH

CVS Health will discontinue offering its Aetna health plans on the Affordable Care Act’s individual marketplaces beginning in 2026. This decision marks the second time in the last ten years that Aetna has withdrawn from these marketplaces. Specifically, CVS Health announced that Aetna will no longer participate in the individual exchanges established under the Affordable Care Act. This change will take effect in 2026, representing a repeat of a similar action taken by Aetna within the past decade.
