The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) is a global alliance that promotes trade and efficient partnering across various academic and biopharma sectors in its wide network. By implementing the BIO One-on-One Partnering™ software at live events, it facilitates face-to-face meetings between investors and corporate leaders. This year, in collaboration with the Taiwan Bio-Industry Association (Taiwan Bio), it brings this powerful partnering platform to Taiwan for the first time!

In the previous years, the Bio-Taiwan annual conference assembled the local biotech community together to promote collaborative partnerships. This year, the country takes a significant leap towards inviting international participation by organizing one of the largest conferences in the Asia Pacific region. The inaugural Bio Asia-Taiwan conference is scheduled to be held from July 24-28 and is expected to gather over 15,000 participants from over 25 countries representing biomedical, pharmaceutical, genomics, biotech services, equipment and instruments, academic research, cosmetology products and bio-based healthcare.

The conference is set to operate on the theme Biotech as the Next Growth Engine for Asia, and will feature meetings, seminars, workshops and company presentations from across the globe. The meeting offers a unique opportunity for attendees to identify potential partners pre-event and then set up face-to-face meetings at the partnering booths on-site. Through the BIO One-on-One Partnering™, the meeting aims to expedite meaningful connections between prospective collaborators, investors and senior business development executives. Two webinars introducing the strategies to utilize the system is made available from this year. The first one in June, before the commencement of the event and another, a week after opening. Besides, an exhibition featuring more than 1,700 booths from 600+ companies is also included in the program.

Bio Asia-Taiwan will showcase Taiwan’s digital advantage and its potential to become one of the emerging business destinations in the region. Don’t miss out on the chance and gain key insights into the recent trends and future challenges of the Asian biotech market as perceived through the lens of key opinion leaders.
