Cognex Q1 2026 Revenue Declines to $223 Million, but Net Income Rises

Cognex Corporation announced its first quarter results for 2026, revealing a decrease in revenue compared to the previous year, but an increase in profitability. The company reported revenue of $223 million, which is down 13% from Q1 2025. However, the company’s gross margin increased to 72% and net income was $48 million, resulting in $0.42 earnings per share.

Specifically, the $223 million in revenue included a $10 million contribution from a large logistics customer. Operating expenses totaled $112 million for the quarter. Cognex also noted that it expects revenue between $240 million and $260 million for the second quarter of 2026.
