CPKC Transports Record 2.88 Million Metric Tonnes of Grain in May

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) moved a record-breaking 2.88 million metric tonnes of grain and grain products during the month of May. This figure surpasses the previous May record of 2.75 million metric tonnes, which the company established in 2021.

The railway company attributed the volume increase to strong demand and operational efficiency across its integrated North American network. These shipments include a variety of agricultural commodities transported from producers to domestic and international markets. The May data marks the latest milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to manage seasonal grain movement across its expanded rail lines.
