Drug Channels Institute (DCI) has launched a suite of six eLearning modules designed to provide pharmaceutical professionals with insights into the economic forces shaping the industry. The modules cover drug distribution, reimbursement, and pricing, aiming to deliver crucial knowledge in a concise format. These courses are designed for professionals seeking to understand the complex relationships within the pharmaceutical industry. DCI’s eLearning modules are structured for various roles, including sales and field teams, market access groups, and internal strategy teams. The modules, each lasting 45 minutes or less, feature interactive graphics, expert voice-over narration, and references to DCI reports for further exploration. The modules are available via a site-wide license for organizational access through internal learning platforms or DCI’s hosted environment. The course topics include the flow of funds in distribution and reimbursement, the economics of retail and specialty pharmacies, the business of specialty pharmacy, the economics of provider-administered drugs, the operations of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and the strategies of pharmaceutical wholesalers.
