Fortune Minerals has entered into an agreement with SECURE Energy Services Inc. for the disposal of process waste from its planned Alberta refinery. The arrangement outlines provisions for managing waste materials generated during the production process at Fortune Minerals’ proposed facility, which is intended to refine critical minerals such as cobalt and bismuth.

Under the terms of the agreement, SECURE will handle the disposal of waste byproducts in compliance with environmental standards and regulations. This collaboration aims to ensure responsible management of industrial waste while supporting Fortune Minerals’ operational plans for its refinery project. The facility, which is designed to process materials sourced from the company’s NICO cobalt-gold-bismuth-copper project in Canada’s Northwest Territories, represents a key component of Fortune Minerals’ strategy to establish a vertically integrated supply chain for critical minerals.
