Gyala Therapeutics has announced promising preclinical results for its CAR-T therapy, GYA01, targeting CD84 in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). The findings, published in the journal *Leukemia*, highlight the potential of GYA01 as a first-in-class treatment for these hard-to-treat blood cancers. The therapy demonstrated strong efficacy in preclinical models, addressing significant unmet needs in AML and T-ALL, which are often resistant to conventional treatments.

To advance clinical development, Gyala Therapeutics has secured €3 million in funding from Invivo Partners, Nara Capital, and CDTI Innvierte. This financing will support the launch of a Phase I trial aimed at evaluating GYA01’s safety and effectiveness in AML patients. The company plans to leverage this funding to further explore the therapeutic potential of its novel CAR-T approach targeting CD84.
