The Institute for Policy Solutions (IPS) at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing has announced the launch of a campaign aimed at addressing health inequities across the United States. The initiative will officially begin with an event on December 17, during which IPS plans to unveil its inaugural National Health Inequities Survey. The event will also feature a panel discussion with experts in the field, focusing on disparities in healthcare access and outcomes.

According to IPS, the survey represents a comprehensive effort to gather data on health inequities nationwide. It aims to identify gaps in healthcare services and highlight systemic issues contributing to unequal health outcomes among different populations. The December launch event will bring together policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and community leaders to discuss findings from the survey and explore actionable solutions. IPS states that this campaign is part of its broader mission to promote evidence-based policies that address social determinants of health and reduce disparities in care delivery.
