Before his role as president of Aeronautics, he served as vice president and general manager of the F-35 program. Sanchez, the incoming president, currently serves as the vice president and general manager of the Integrated Fighter Group, where he oversees the F-16, F-22, and T-50 programs. He has been with Lockheed Martin for 17 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility.
