Natera and Diakonos Oncology Collaborate to Study Signatera™ Test in Refractory Melanoma Patients Receiving Personalized Cancer Vaccine

Natera and Diakonos Oncology are collaborating to study the use of Natera’s Signatera™ test in patients with refractory melanoma. The study will assess the test’s ability to predict response to Diakonos Oncology’s personalized cancer vaccine.

The collaboration aims to determine if Signatera™ can identify patients who are most likely to benefit from the personalized cancer vaccine. Researchers will analyze data from patients with refractory melanoma who receive the vaccine and undergo Signatera™ testing. The Signatera™ test is a circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) test that can detect minimal residual disease (MRD) and monitor treatment response in cancer patients. Diakonos Oncology’s personalized cancer vaccine is designed to stimulate the patient’s immune system to target and destroy cancer cells. The study will evaluate the correlation between Signatera™ results and patient outcomes following vaccination.
