Ryka released the Windswift LX on Tuesday, marking the brand’s latest entry into the women’s performance running shoe market. The new model features updated cushioning technology and structural design elements intended to support long-distance running, representing the company’s most performance-oriented footwear release to date.

The Windswift LX incorporates a proprietary foam midsole designed to increase energy return and impact absorption for the wearer. Designers constructed the upper portion of the shoe using a lightweight, breathable mesh material to improve airflow during high-intensity activity. The shoe also utilizes a reinforced heel counter and a specialized outsole pattern to provide stability and traction on various running surfaces. Ryka developed this model specifically to address the biomechanical needs of female runners, focusing on fit and support features tailored to the female foot shape.
