Serve Robotics Partners With NoScrubs to Launch Autonomous Laundry Delivery Pilot
Serve Robotics announced on Tuesday the expansion of its autonomous delivery operations into the laundry services sector through a new partnership with the service provider NoScrubs. The company intends to utilize its existing fleet of sidewalk robots to transport laundry between residential customers and cleaning facilities, marking a shift away from its primary focus on food delivery.
The integration allows customers to schedule laundry pickups and drop-offs via the NoScrubs mobile application, which now coordinates with Serve Robotics’ autonomous units. These robots navigate urban environments to collect bags of laundry and deliver them to local processing centers, where staff perform the cleaning services before the robots return the items to the customer. This pilot program currently operates in select urban markets, with the companies monitoring logistics efficiency and service demand to determine the feasibility of a broader rollout. The move represents the first instance of Serve Robotics applying its delivery technology to the garment care industry, diversifying the company’s operational utility beyond its established restaurant-to-consumer delivery model.
