Study Links Consuming Five Artificially Sweetened Beverages Weekly to 6 Percent Higher Gestational Diabetes Risk

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Adelaide has identified a link between the consumption of artificially sweetened beverages (ASBs) and an increased risk of gestational diabetes in pregnant women. The findings indicate that women who consume five or more ASBs per week during pregnancy face a 6% higher likelihood of developing the condition.
