This research underscores the urgent need for tailored precision medicine strategies to enhance the long-term health outcomes for these patients.

Despite the effectiveness of antiretroviral therapy in controlling the virus, the study suggests that it does not fully mitigate other health risks associated with HIV. These findings could influence future treatment protocols and healthcare approaches for managing HIV.
