Toyota Motor North America released its U.S. sales results for March and the first quarter of 2026, reporting a total of 203,325 vehicles sold in March alone. For the entire first quarter, the company recorded sales of 526,017 vehicles across its Toyota and Lexus divisions. These figures represent a slight decrease compared to the same period last year.

In March 2026, Toyota division sales accounted for 176,456 units, while Lexus division sales totaled 26,869 units. Across the first quarter, Toyota reported selling 457,893 vehicles under its namesake brand and 68,124 units under Lexus. The company highlighted that electrified vehicle sales made up approximately one-third of total volume during this period. This includes hybrid electric (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV), fuel cell electric (FCEV), and battery electric vehicles (BEV).

The automaker also noted that it continues to focus on offering diverse powertrain options to meet varying consumer needs while advancing its commitment to carbon neutrality goals.
