Low Doses of LSD as a Potential Treatment for Anxiety in the Future?

A recently published study sheds light on how Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) acts on the nervous system and may be useful in treating anxiety disorders in the future.  In recent years, psychedelics have been touted as a relief as well as therapeutic measure for individuals with mental health conditions. Even as their usage gains support, there is little scientific evidence to back these claims, especially at the cellular level.
