Innovating Drug Delivery Systems with Moderna’s Bob Langer

Humanity’s understanding of biology and medicine is undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by the desire to extend and improve the quality of life worldwide. Ideas that are commonly accepted by the scientific community today would have been incomprehensible to generations past. Spurring the growth of that community are talented individuals like Dr. Robert Langer, co-founder of Moderna, author of over 1,500 papers, the most cited chemical engineer in history, and holder of over 1,400 pending or granted patents. 

Langer told his inspiring story of success throughout his exceptional career. He described his early struggles to break into biotechnology through to his hopes for the future and the promising technologies his teams are working on to continue bringing medical advancement to populations worldwide.
