Governmental Action for a Better Future

Sustainability as a singular goal can only be achieved with a global co-operative and collaborative effort. This requires policies and ESG vision at the highest levels of governments and international organisations. Much work has been done on defining non-financial indicators to review ESG strategies of companies. Additionally, countries have developed federal and local programs to encourage sustainable development. Here, we take a look at the various national level programs by global leaders of governmental policies that contribute to the global agenda of sustainability, particularly in protecting the environment from the predicted adversities of climate change due to human activity.
