After developing new drugs or therapeutic biological products, FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER)’s approval is crucial when it comes to bringing new therapy to market. To this day (2021/12/27), a total of 49 drugs have been approved by FDA this year.  GeneOnline has assembled the top 11 notable novel drugs being approved by FDA in 2021. Vaccines, allergenic products, blood and blood products, plasma derivatives, cellular and gene therapy products are not included.
