T Cells and Cancer: Uncovering the Unknowns

T cells are potent cancer-killing immune cells but cancers have developed several ways to escape them. In recent years, immunotherapies such as CAR T cells and immune checkpoint inhibitors have reactivated the T cells to be effective against cancers. Understanding the interactions between cancer cells and T cells could help us develop novel therapeutics.
